Fresh blood for the BMW M2 CS Racing Cup Benelux

Three BMW M2 CS Racing cars will be filled with new drivers. Young Dutch talent, Colin Caresani will be driving the #47 car by Bas Koeten Racing while JJ Motorsport brings two new cars to the grid. American driver pairing Kevin Madsen and Lance Fentin will be behind the wheel of the #35 car with Belgian driver Fred Caprasse in the #27.

Due to the influx of experience and young talent, the competitiveness of the BMW M2 CS Racing Cup Benelux grid keeps on rising. With the tense championship battle between Giovanni Scamardi and Stienes Longin, only being separated with one point, this additional competition is bound to make the championship even more exciting.

Fred Caprasse:

"I have the pleasure of driving the BMW M2 CS Racing of Bilia-Emond in Spa.

It's good for me to come back to a Benelux championship, I've been driving in the French championship for 4 years now. Spa is a bit like the garden in my backyard. We will do our utmost with JJ Motorsport to place the Bilia-Emond BMW M2 CS Racing at the forefront, it is also the challenge that I set for myself this weekend.

Driving in the BMW M2 CS Racing Cup Benelux confirms my good form at the moment with victories and podiums in FFSA Tourisme on the Peugeot 308 and in BRC (Rally) on the Peugeot 208 of DG Sport.

Bilia-Emond thirsts for victory and I hope I can bring them this joy."

Colin Caresani:

“I am very excited to show what I am capable of in the BMW M2 CS Racing Cup Benelux. Being able to do this on a legendary racetrack like Spa-Francorchamps completes the package. I have had some practice here but it will be my first time racing the BMW M2 CS Racing at Spa-Francorchamps. Nevertheless I am aiming to get on the podium this weekend, and hopefully end up on the top step.”

Kevin Madsen:

“Lance Fenton and I are excited to represent the good ol’ USA while racing the BMW M2 CS Racing Cup Benelux event at Spa Francorchamps. There are 2 great teams I’ve worked with in the states that use the M2 CS Racing so it will be just epic to use this proven weapon on some of the most challenging curves in motorsport.

Eau Rouge, Pouhon, Blanchimont, it’s going to be a blast and we look forward to meeting a lot of new friends in the BMW hospitality area and hopefully over champagne on the podium after the 3 races. Thanks for having us loud & proud Americans in the #35 JJ Motorsport Car here and hopefully future M2 Cup events!”
